ARCHIPELAGO SEAKAYAK ADVENTURE
3 days/2 nights
The trip begins in the bustling city of Stockholm with a transfer to the more secluded and relaxing archipelago region of Roslagen. After an introduction of the guides and gear, you head out on the open ocean. The pace starts out slow, so that everyone can become comfortable with kayaking in open waters. The water is so clear in this region; it's amazing how far you can see underneath you when the water is calm. Kayaking across the clear waters of the Roslagen Archipelago, just north of Stockholm, brings a sense of calmness and serenety to today's hectic world. We take many breaks to enjoy good conversation, a siesta in the sun or lunch on a favorite island. The routhe is determined as you go along and depends on currents, winds and weather. You will stop to view waterfowl and marine wildlife and to take pictures of typical archipelago cottages and wonderful seaside monuments.

HIGH COAST HORSEBACK ADVENTURE
5 days/4 nights
Our trip starts in the city of Härnösand with a transfer to the center of the High Coast region in Nora. On the way, we stop in at the High Coast Hotel for a lunch with panoramic views. After settling into our Inn, we enjoy a nice afternoon ride with our four-legged Icelandic friends. Icelandic horses are small, but very strong. They were the trustworthy partners of the Vikings, and offer a comfortable and secure ride. Icelandic horses are gaited, and have a special gait called "tölt". The tölt is a type of running walk, which is a very smooth gait and not bumpy like most people think of the trot. Over the next few days, we'll ride like the Vikings through deep forests, across open meadows and over high mountains, overlooking the ocean and fjords of the High Coast . We spend the first night at our country inn, and the next 2 nights in a comfortable cabin with access to both sauna and swimming, before returning to the inn for the final night. Our bags and other belongings will be transferred to our overnight accommodations by car, so that we can ride as much as we want to, without having to worry about heavy packs.

HIGH COAST MULTISPORT ADVENTURE
5 days/4 nights
Your trip starts in the small city of Härnösand with a transfer to the center of the High Coast region in Nora. You get to know your guides and quaint inn accommodations over coffee followed by a nice afternoon ride with our four-legged Icelandic friends. We enjoy two days of riding along the ridges and valleys of the High Coast region, with several opportunities for faster gaits - a nice gallop along a remote forest road is tough to beat! You give your horses a break, and hike through abundant blueberry and raspberry patches down to the ocean, where you meet up with your kayaks. In your kayaks you glide gently past the islands and coves of one of the High Coast 's many bays. A great day is celebrated by a nice barbecue by the water followed by a soak in the hot tub. A multisport trip is never complete without another great hike! And by great, we mean hiking up to the highest point in the region for panoramic views. Enjoy a nice lunch break at the top before returning to our pleasant horses for another afternoon of great riding.

RAVEN'S EYE HORSEBACK ADVENTURE
7 days/6 nights
Your trip beings in Östersund with a trip north to the tiny village of Jorm and our viking lodge, passing numerous mountain lakes and the occassional reindeer on the way. The following morning, you meet your horses. On the third day you head out into the high country for three nights of wilderness camping. The snow is still lingering on a few mountain tops. You ride through the rolling hills and mountains of northern Jämtland, close to the border of Norway, through mountain birch forests and fields of osier, along ridges and through ravines to meadows of soft cotton grass. Some say the mountains around Jorm resemble the mountains and highlands of Iceland. A calm walk is stirred up by a fast gallop, and everyone comes into camp with a smile. While on the trail all of our meals are cooked over an open fire and we enjoy reindeersteaks, moose and many other local products. You end your adventure with an evening of sauna and soaking in the hot tub before reluctantly returning to civilization.

RAVEN'S EYE HIKING ADVENTURE
7 days/6 nights
Your trip beings in Östersund with a trip north to the tiny village of Jorm, passing numerous mountain lakes and the occassional reindeer on the way. You start your adventure with a nice warm-up hike in the vicinity of Jorm. Our Icelandic, four-legged friends join us on on the third day as you head out into the high country for two nights of wilderness camping. Without heavy backpacks, you can look around and enjoy the surroundings on the trek. We hike through the rolling hills and mountains of northern Jämtland, close to the border of Norway. This region is known for its flora and fauna and since the bedrock is rich in calcium oxide, our journey offers many surprises. You wander accross areas where the Sami people graze their reindeer, and there's a good chance to track both the reindeer and the predator's rampage. While on the trek all of our meals are cooked over an open fire and we enjoy reindeersteaks, moose and many other local products. Upon returning to Jorm, you are presented with many options on a day of leisure - another day of hiking, a day of caving one of Sweden's longest limestone caves (not for the claustrophobic!) or a day of horseback riding. With all the great ingredients, this trip is a recipe for the perfect adventure.
